The Type 15 consists of two Type 9 stroke buffer capsules combined into one buffer assembly to provide a longer 800 mm stoke.
Typically used as end stops for either rail or heavy crane applications, on both dockside and offshore applictions.
The Type 24 buffer is a related unit consisting of two Type 23 buffer capsules and therefore is also more appropriate when needing to be fully compressed at low speeds.
