Maintenance Engineer (CNC)

Competitive Salary + Pension + 33 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)                         

Working Hours: DAY SHIFT: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 and Friday's 07:30 - 13:00.

OLEO International a trading division of TA Savery & Co Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who possesses experience in repairing / servicing CNC machinery to join our maintenance team based in Coventry.

As a company we are a World leader in the design and manufacture of safety critical equipment used in a wide range of applications in the Rail, Elevator and Industrial sectors.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

You will be working safely as part of a team of Multi Skilled Engineers sharing the responsibility of maintaining and repairing all plant, CNC machinery and equipment across the manufacturing facility. You will be tasked with providing a focal point of maintenance, facilities and engineering services along with promoting continuous improvement activities throughout the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out electro / mechanical reactive, planned and preventative maintenance.
• Participate in morning production meetings, communicating issues raised back to the Maintenance Manager.
• Rationalise and maintain complete maintenance records, to eliminate duplication and advise on maintenance requirements for all planning work.
• Inspection, testing and repair or replacement of failed components as required on an emergency or scheduled basis.
• Continually maintain machinery critical spares and support stock at required levels.
• Adhere to company ISO quality and Health & Safety procedures.
• Liaise with third party contractors, issuing permits to work where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Possess an engineering related qualification - Electrical installation qualifications would be advantageous.
• 16th, 17th or 18th edition wiring certifications.
• Current or previous experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machines.
• Experienced in repairing and maintaining electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
• Confident in carrying out corrective / preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Experienced in attending to machine breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Fault finding experience.
