IEEE attracts more than 10,000 visitors from 28 countries and provides exhibitors such as Oleo with a platform to engage with new customers and present their products to the lucrative Indian market. Oleo’s 50 sq m exhibition stand at Booth C50 Hall 1 will give visitors an opportunity to see some of its leading elevator buffer products, including its MLB, LSB and LT series.

Oleo’s extensive range of elevator buffers are sold worldwide and have earned a reputation for quality and safety. They offer exceptional performance within a range of settings, be it service elevators, or passenger lifts in buildings ranging from some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers to hotels and hospitals. The product portfolio covers a wide mass and speed range and has global certification and approvals which include EN81.1, ASME A17.1 GB7588 and EK1002.

Exhibiting at IEEE will help Oleo raise its profile within a country where demand for these products is growing at an impressive rate. India is the second largest elevator/escalator market in the world, with 2018 sales expected to surpass 100,000 units.  The pace of its economic growth and urbanisation presents huge opportunities for manufacturers such as Oleo.

As safety concerns continue to move up the agenda within India, Oleo’s safety-first approach is helping it gain a reputation as a trusted manufacturer. Attendees to its IEEE exhibition stand will be able to see the key design features of its elevator buffer products, each manufactured to the very highest standard.

That commitment to excellence has helped Oleo win export contracts right around the world. This success was celebrated in 2015 when the company won the coveted Queen’s Award for International Trade.

On the back of success within the Indian market, Oleo has committed to manufacture many of its products locally. In September 2017, the company opened a new manufacturing plant in Bangalore which will eventually employ 250 people. The investment underlines Oleo’s commitment to the regional market and supports the Indian government’s “Make in India” initiative.

Oleo’s presence at IEEE will help it increase exposure within a key global market and cement its place as a leading manufacturer in one of India’s fastest growing sectors.

Shijo Thomas, Director, Oleo India said “We are pleased to be exhibiting our latest range of elevator buffers, which will showcase the value proposition our elevator buffers can offer – ultimate protection with buffers that offer lightweight construction, extreme durability and minimum life-cycle costs”.
