Initial employment period on dayshift for H&S, training and familiarisation
To assist management in the promotion, implementation and maintenance of product quality standards, whilst taking a responsible approach to health & safety.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To assemble units following drawings and documentation.
Study and interpret assembly instructions.
Liaise with supervision on any issues arising during the shift with component shortages / quality issues.
To verify specifications by measuring completed components.
To troubleshoot to resolve any assembly problems.
To keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Complete quality control forms.
Keep working areas clean and safe.
Education & Experience
Able to read engineering drawings.
Proven experience in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment.
Ability to learn quickly and assimilate a wide variety of information.
Possess a positive attitude towards work and be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Hours of work:
Monday & Tuesday : 7.00pm to 7.00am
Wednesday : 6.00pm to 5.00am
Thursday : 4.00pm to 8.00pm
