ASSEMBLER - NIGHTSHIFT

Initial employment period on dayshift for H&S, training and familiarisation

To assist management in the promotion, implementation and maintenance of product quality standards, whilst taking a responsible approach to health & safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To assemble units following drawings and documentation.

  • Study and interpret assembly instructions.

  • Liaise with supervision on any issues arising during the shift with component shortages / quality issues.

  • To verify specifications by measuring completed components.

  • To troubleshoot to resolve any assembly problems.

  • To keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements.

  • Complete quality control forms.

  • Keep working areas clean and safe.

Education & Experience

  • Able to read engineering drawings.

  • Proven experience in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to learn quickly and assimilate a wide variety of information.

  • Possess a positive attitude towards work and be able to work alone and as part of a team.

     

 

Hours of work:

Monday & Tuesday         :             7.00pm to 7.00am

Wednesday                     :             6.00pm to 5.00am

Thursday                         :             4.00pm to 8.00pm
