• Using the simulation packages and testing equipment it has been possible to develop new technologies that use deforming element “one-shot” technologies in both series and parallel with the traditional Oleo gas hydraulic solutions.

• These technologies address impact scenarios in both running and crash modes that could not have been economically developed without the computer simulation models and non linear finite element analysis to verify the concept or the test rig to validate the solutions.

• Other technologies such as polymer springs are also used in the solutions.
